Collect motorhome and stay in the South of England .
Our flight from Thailand was very slightly delayed but no matter as it arrived mid-evening and we had booked into LHR T5 Travelodge for 1 night
National Express coach from LHR to Gloucester. Taxi to Newent to collect motorhome amd drve to Slimbridge/Cambridge for 4 nights in a simple campsite with Electricity and tollets.
We had a minor problem in that the gas regulator failed and a replacement was needed. This was done using a mobile motorhome repairer...all very good !
We then drove to Hurley Riverside campground for a full week. This is a very nice fully serviced site (showers and washing up as well). a good price at £15 a night.
Minor tasks in the house with a new tenant due.
Then to Stroud farm Holyport and Vehicle service and MOT. Routine doctors visits.
Next a lovely visit to Uckfield to meet Peter and Annie....I have known Peter since I was 5 and he was taught by my mother (as I was)
We were made very welcome and stayed in their house.
Our last business was a final doctor appointment on May 8th (Maidenhead).
