To Scotland
We drove North via Sleaford and Whitby then Rothbury,
Finally to Mussellburgh (Edinburgh) and the lovely Fisherrow Harbour. Some rain in Musselburgh but not too much.. Next to Perth before driving over the Glenshee ski area (A93) and Balmoral (Braemar Castle) then the A939 to Tomintoul, Grantown on Spey and finally Nairn
This was all delightful and spectacular with beautiful scenery and weather to match. Excellent twisty but not narrow mountain roads

The A9 would take us towards Jon o'Groats and the North coast. The weather was quite good and the roads and scenery just brilliant (see below).

We first attended a meet here back in 2013 our first summer of "living in the Motorhome". It was vey good.
So a return visit on 16 17 18 June. Margaret and Angus were our hosts again. Some "old faces" and many new.
Another excellent few days.
Friday night everyone cooks food and we simply share it
Saturday night a BBQ again sharing also some live music (Guitars Harp Yukelele and Bagpipes (played by a Dutchman!)
Sunday lunch out at a local Pub..transport provided.
Many friendly and chatty people...shame we cannot go every year.

Tuesday and Wednesday at Girvan. Thursday 22nd sail to Larne (Ulster)
End of Stage 2
