Back in UK from Thailand (May 2014)
We will be "long-terming" in our motorhome until we fly to Thailand. Thus a few upgrades - Solar Panel, TV, odds and ends.
Cheap or free stopovers in the UK will be the order of the day and we appreciate the help that various sources provide.
We also plan to tour Hungary and Romania spending extra days in Germany and Austria en-route.

Major items
Arrived back May 5th as planned
Collected Motorhome from Southern Motorhome Centre (Taplow) Fully serviced and habitation checked and MOT. My Thanks to them.
Organised Solar Panel and fitting with Aintree Caravan Services. Drove to Formby for installation. My Thanks to Robbie.
We can now use our Avtex TV of a 12 volt feed from the leisure battery.
Full details of this will appear below soon. Briefly mainly wildcamping in Scotland. nearly all from POI.
The very good ones were
Solar panel (120W), MPPT Controller, Inverter. All doing "exactly what is says on the tin"
As I prepare this page I am using my laptop using the inverter. Minimal drain on the leisure battery.
(The battery will be fully charged again about 30 mins after I stop using the inverter). It is a nice sunny morning 10 am.
