Summer 2016. UK, "Euroland", Scandinavia, and back.
UK April/May
An uneventful flight (I like uneventful flights !) from Bangkok to London and coach to Gloucester for 2 nights in Travelodge.
Friday 1st April we collected our motorhome form near Newent for our 6 month spell.
So Uk for 6 weeks for administrative taks and also completing the repair to the motorhome wheel arch trims.
All went well if a bit fraught but MH service and MOT all completed by early May.
Mainly pleasant and good camping but handicapped by wet(very) ground so we got stuck twice but on farm-sites so 4WD or tractor to tow us out !
Main campsites
Little Brangwells @ Redmarlet d'Abitot (image on left)
Park and Ride @ Canterbury
Stroud Farm @ Holyport, Maidenhead
Folly Farm @ Oxford

Nice stellplatz @ Cloppenburg near the town centre and an excellent open air museum
Northwards via Hamburg then overnights at Itzehoe, another pleasant town, followed by a farm-site near Heide

Denmark (out) 15th May to 22nd
Very pleasant with good roads and little traffic.
2 nights @Ribe one of the oldest towns in Denmark where thee was a lovely parade on the monday.
We then stayed 1 night in a beach carpark near Esbjerg before continuing north to Herning, Skive and Hurup Thy.
Here there was good overnight parking and an Eco-centre concentrating on solar and wnd power with an excellet display of electric bicycles scooters and mini-carts.
A short drive north took us to Hirtsals for our ferry crossing and a very serviceble overnight just south of the town
